Poor tracking • Excessive dust on record or stylus. • Stylus tip wear. • Remove dust from stylus or record. • Replace the stylus. (Refer to “Replacing the stylus” on page 7.) Sound is too low or distorted. • The EQ ON/OFF switch under the turntable platter is not set correctly. • Set the switch correctly referring to “Connections”. Note: Do not use contact cleaner because it could cause a malfunction. Be specially careful against contact cleaners containing oil, for they may deform the plastic components.
