It is not designed to be used outside, in the heat, as it will not cool the cans inside. It works best when used indoors in a cool room, to provide you cold drinks every time. This cooler should cool the cans at approximately a temperature of 30F/16C below the room temperature. Please allow sufficient time (4 hours minimum) for the cans to cool inside the machine, or use cans pre-cooled in a normal refrigerator, that the cooler will maintain at an ideal temperature.
