Video cassette recorder Preparation .Change the video input mode on the television (“VIDEO 2” in the example). .Aim the remote control at the unit and press [VCR] to light up the button, and then aim it at the video cassette recorder for the following operations: Turning the video cassette recorder on/off Press [I AV SYSTEM]. Play, pause and stop Press [1] (play), [;] or [.]. Fast forward and rewind Press [6] or [5]. Connecting a laser disc, tape or record player Connect instead of a video cassette recorder (. above) and select “AUX” as the source. We recommend using a record player with a built-in phono equalizer. If your player doesn’t have a built-in equalizer, connect it first to a separate equalizer and then to the unit. Changing the remote control code This remote control can also operate some other brands of televisions and video cassette recorders. Change the code to operate such equipment (. back cover). Aim the remote control at the equipment. While pressing [TV] or [VCR] Press a numbered button to enter the first digit, and then the second digit. The remote control outputs the on/off signal. If the code is correct, the equipment turns on or off. If it doesn’t, try entering another code. Attaching to a wall You can attach all of the speakers to a wall. 1 Drive a screw (not included) into the wall. 30–35 mm (13/16q–13/8q) 2 Fit the speaker securely onto the screw(s) with the hole(s). .The wall or pillar on which the speakers are to be attached should be ‰7.5–9.4 mm ‰3.0–4.0 mm capable of supporting 10 kg (22 lbs) per screw. Consult a qualified (19/64q–3/8q) building contractor when attaching the speakers to a wall. Improper (1/8q–5/32q) attachment may result in damage to the wall and speakers. 4.0–7.0 mm (5/32q–9/32q) Wall or pillar .Use of optional speaker cables is recommended for wall-mounted front speakers.
