The appliance sets the boiling point. Calibration The boiling point of water depends on barometric pressure. As air pressure drops with increasing elevation, the boiling point drops as well. During calibration, the appliance sets the boiling point to the pressure conditions at the place where it is installed. It is important that the appliance steams without interruption for 20 minutes at 100°C. Do not open the appliance door during this time.
