3 Put the home-made French fries in a bowl and shake them. Cleaning Open the lid (Fig. 2). Let the oil or fat cool down for at least 4 hours before you clean or move the fryer. Make sure you have removed the oil or fat from the inner bowl before you use this function. Fill the inner bowl with cold water up to three quarters of its capacity and add somewashing-up liquid. (Fig. 16) Put the plug in the wall socket. Switch on the appliance (Fig. 7). Set the temperature control to the PreClean function. (Fig. 8) The water is heated to a temperature just below boiling point. After 30 minutes, switch off the appliance and unplug it.
