The wireless mouse has no cables to plug in and uses a laser sensor instead of a ball. Using the Wireless Mouse One alkaline AA battery is supplied with your wireless mouse. Before attempting to use the wireless mouse, remove the battery compartment cover (1) from the bottom of the wireless mouse and install the supplied AA battery (2) into the battery compartment. . If the wireless mouse does not operate properly, the battery may need to be replaced. Do not place metal furniture or objects near your computer or wireless mouse, as this may create radio interference, causing the mouse to stop working properly. Be sure to use an alkaline battery. To drag and drop items, hold the left button down while sliding the mouse, then release the button to drop the item.
