CAUTION: Ensure that you apply new thermal grease. New thermal grease is critical for ensuring adequate thermal bonding, which is a requirement for optimal processor operation. CAUTION: Ensure that the processor heat-sink is correctly seated and secure. 15. Replace the rear stand cover (see Replacing the Rear Stand Cover). 16. Follow the instructions from step 4 to step 7 in Replacing the Front Stand. 17. Replace the back cover (see Replacing the Back Cover). 18. Connect your computer and all attached devices to electrical outlets, and then turn them on. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the back cover (see Removing the Back Cover). 3. Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 7 in Removing the Front Stand. 4. Remove the rear stand cover (see Removing the Rear Stand Cover). 5. Remove the four screws that secure the system-board shield to the chassis. 6. Carefully lift the system-board shield and turn it over to the left of the computer. 7. Disconnect the antenna-in connector cable from the connector on the TV tuner card. 8. Disconnect the infrared (IR) blaster connector cable from the connector (CIR Receiver) on the system board. 9. Release the antenna-in connector cable and IR blaster connector cable from the routing guides on the system-board shield. 10. Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 5 in Removing the Antenna-In Connector. 11. Follow the instructions from step 3 to step 5 in Removing the Infrared (IR) Blaster Connector.
