The dimensions of the rack cabinet must meet the following requirements:
Part I: Install the rail kit.
Note: The holes in a mounting flange are divided into groups by measuring marks. The three holes between two adjacent measuring marks
form a group, which indicates 1U space. Note the measuring marks on a mounting flange to help you correctly select a rack mounting area for
the server. For more information about the placement of the holes in a mounting flange, refer to the documentation that comes with the rack
cabinet.
1.
Install the front end of the left slide rail.
On the left-front mounting flange of the rack cabinet, select a proper rack mounting area for the left slide rail. Align the tabs on the front
end of the rail with the corresponding holes in the mounting area. Push the front end of the rail into the front mounting flange until it is
firmly secured.
Note: The slide rail kit can be installed into a rack cabinet with either square-hole mounting flanges or round-hole mounting flanges. The
installation method is the same. Each of the tabs
consists of an outer square frame and an inner round post. If the holes in a
mounting flange are round, only the inner round posts
are inserted into the holes.

4.445 cm or 1.75 inches.)
– The weight of the server is rated above 18 kg (39.7 lb). Refer to the following statement for safe practices when lifting.

≥ 18 kg (39.7 lb)
