Connect FM antenna 1 Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM AERIAL jack on the main unit. FM aerial Connect power Caution • Risk of product damage! Ensure that the power supply voltage corresponds to the voltage printed on the back or the underside of the unit. • Risk of electric shock! When you unplug the AC power cord, always pull the plug from the socket. Never pull the cord. • Before connecting the AC power cord, ensure you have completed all other connections. EN 9 1 Connect the power cord to the AC~MAINS jack on the main unit. 2 Connect the power plug to the wall outlet. AC MAINS ~ Install remote control batteries Caution • Risk of explosion! Keep bat teries away from heat, sunshine or fire. Never discard batteries in fire. • Risk of decreased bat ter y life! Never mix different brands or types of batteries. • Risk of product damage! When the remote control is not used for long periods, remove the bat teries. 1 Open the batter y compar tment. 2 Inser t 2 AA A batteries with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated. 3 Close the batter y compar tment. 312 Set clock 1 In standby mode, press and hold CLOCK /DISPLAY to activate the clock setting mode. » [SET CLOCK] (set clock) is displayed briefly.Then the hour digits are displayed and begin to blink. English EN 11 5 Play options Repeat and random play 1 Press MODE repeatedly to select: • [REP] (repeat): the current track is played repeatedly. • [REP ALL] (repeat all): all tracks are played repeatedly. • [SHUF] (shuffle): all tracks are played randomly. • [REP ALL SHUF] (repeat all shuffle): all tracks are played repeatedly in random order. 2 To return to normal play, press MODE repeatedly until play mode is no longer displayed. Tip • Shuffle play cannot be selected when you play programmed tr acks. Program tracks You can program a maximum of 20 tracks. 1 At CD/USB mode, at the stop position, press PROG to activate the program mode. » [PROG] (program) blinks on the display. 2 For MP3/WMA tracks, press ALBUM/ PRESET +/- to select an album. 3 Press / to select a track number, then press PROG to confirm. 4 Repeat steps 2 to 3 to program more tracks. 5 Press to play the programmed tracks. » During play, [PROG] (program) is displayed....
