Overview The CD-01U/CD-01U PRO (here referred to as “controlled device”) functions can be controlled using a serial RS-232C connection from an external device, such as a computer. Such a device is referred to here as the “external controller”. 2. Specifications 2.1. Electrical Specifications Conforms to standard JIS X-5101 (equivalent to former JIS-C-6361 and EIA RS-232C standards) Note that this is not compatible with the RS-422 used in professional VTR units. Impedance at receiver When measured with an applied voltage of between +/-3 V and +/-15 V, the DC resistance is between 3 kohm and 7 kohm . Command Format 3.1. All commands are terminated by a carriage return (CR) character [0Dh].
