Rotating either of these controls in the clockwise direction from center' position boosts response in the corresponding frequency range. Counter-clockwise rotation cuts response in the corresponding range. When set to their center positions, response is flat and unaffected. e AUX Control The AUX control determines the amount of signal sent from the respective channel to either the internal high-performance BBD delay system or external signal processing equipment. When no external equipment is connected, rotating any of these controls in the clockwise direction increases the amount of echo sound (from the internal BBD echo system) applied to the sound of the corresponding channel. The AUX controls are connected"post-fader" (i.e. after the VOLUME control), so that when the volume setting is changed the echo level changes accordingly. The AUX controls have the same effect when external signal processing is used, but the internal BBD echo system is automatically disconnected. (Also see"RETURN Control”) © PAN Selector The signal from each channel can be placed at the left, center or right of the output stereo sound field using these selectors. A setting of "L”sends the sound from that channel to the left speaker only, a setting of "L + R" sends the channel sound to both the left and right speakers, and a setting of "R" sends the sound to the right speaker only. 0 MONITOR Control These level controls feed a separate monitor buss and output, providing a completely independent monitor mix. The monitor mix is fed to the rear-panel MONITOR output terminal and front-panel PHONES terminal. Channel EQ settings affect the monitor sound, but internal echo or external signal processing do not.
