CAUTION Do not touch the expansion bus connector, pins or terminals of the port replicator. When you want to use serial port B, make sure that the serial port B is enabled in the Setup Utility ( “Setup Utility”) NOTE It is possible to connect a mouse device to the keyboard port and a keyboard to the mouse port. CAUTION 1 Turn off the computer, and disconnect all cables from the computer. 2 Connect the port replicator to a power outlet. Connect the conversion cable to the AC adaptor included with the computer (see figure on right). Connect the plug of the AC adaptor included with the computer or of the conversion cable (which is only for use with CF-29 series) to the DC-IN jack of Conversion Cable 6 the port replicator, and plug the other end into an power outlet. Be sure to use the AC adaptor. (The port replicator will not function using the computer’s battery power.) Be sure to use the specified AC adaptor and AC cord which are included with the computer.
