Turn off propane and disconnect cylinder(s) when not in use. • Cylinders must be stored outdoors in a well- ventilated area out of the reach of children. • BURN HAZARD • Never leave the fireplace unattended when hot or in use. • Keep out of reach of children. • The operator should alert children and adults to the hazards of high surface temperatures and should stay away to avoid burns or clothing ignition. • Young children should be carefully supervised when they are in the area of the appliance. • Clothing or other flammable materials should not be hung from the appliance, or placed on or near the appliance when hot or in use. • Any guard or other protective device removed for servicing the appliance must be replaced prior to operating the appliance. • Installation and repair should be done by a qualified service person. The appliance should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service person. More frequent cleaning may be required as necessary. It is imperative that the control compartment, burners and circulating air passageways of the appliance be kept clean. CAUTION • Do not use this appliance if any part has been under water. Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect the appliance and to replace any part of the control system and any gas control which has been under water. CAUTION • The use of alcohol, prescription or nonprescription drugs may impair your ability to properly assemble or safely operate the appliance. • Do not move the appliance when in use. • Use as an outdoor decorative gas fireplace only. This appliance is not intended for and should never be used as a heater or for cooking. • Do not use as a table surface while the fireplace is in operation. CAUTION • SERVICE SAFETY • Keep all connections and fittings clean. Inspect propane cylinder and fireplace propane connections for damage before attaching. • During set up, check all connections and fittings for leaks using soapy water. Never use a flame. Bubbles indicate a leak. Check that the connection is not cross-threaded and that it is tight. Perform another leak check. If there is still a leak, remove the cylinder and contact Coleman for service or repairs. • Never alter in any way or use with any device or part not expressly approved by Coleman. Regulator: 5071 Fuel: Two 16.4 oz. disposable propane cylinders. Alternate Fuel: 20 lb. refillable propane cylinder attached with an approved accessory hose assembly. Note: The pressure regulator supplied with the gas fireplace must be used. If using a 20 lb. refillable propane cylinder, use only with an approved accessory hose assembly. Attach any two legs to the frame using two screws and two hex nuts per leg (Fig. 4 and 5). NOTE: Do not completely tighten these fasteners until later. This will allow easier alignment during assembly of the control panel. NOTE: The third leg will be fastened later when the control panel is assembled to the frame. Hardware shown actual size Screw (6) Qty. ¦ Assemble three legs to the shelf. The shelf is threaded to receive the screws (Fig. 2). Invert the shelf and attach each leg with two screws. Fig. 4 ¦ Assemble the Control Panel by slipping the flange between the frame and the third leg. Grasp the frame and raise slightly to create clearance for the flange. Fasten with two screws and two hex nuts (Fig. 6, 7 and 8). NOTE: Do not completely tighten these fasteners until later.
