INTRODUCTION SECTION 2. INSTALLATION This section provides the installation instructions for the Henny Penny HC-941 Holding Cabinet. NOTE Installation of this unit should be performed by a qualified service technician. WARNING ] Do not puncture the skin of the HC-941 Holding Cabinet with drills or screws as component damage or electrical shock could result. 2-2. UNPACKING ' The Henny Penny HC-941 Holding Cabinet has been tested, inspected, and expertly packed to insure arrival at its destination in the best possible condition. The unit is packed inside a heavy cardboard carton with sufficient padding to withstand normal shipping treatment. NOTE Any shipping damages should be noted in the presence of the delivery agent and signed prior to his or her departure. To remove the Henny Penny HC-941 Holding Cabinet from the carton, you should: 1. Carefully cut banding straps. 2. Remove packing from around the unit. 3. Lift unit from carton. WARNING Care should be taken when lifting unit to prevent personal injury. 4. Open the drawer and remove the packing or literature that is inside. 5. Pull off any protective covering from the exterior of the cabinet. 6. Your HC-941 Holding Cabinet is now ready for location and setup. 685 2-1 Henny Penny Model HC-941 2-3. ELECTRICAL REQUIREMNTS The HC-941 Holding Cabinet is available from the factory as a 120 VAC, single phase, 50/60 hertz, 480 watts, 4 amp unit. The unit requires a grounded, 15 amp receptacle with a separate electrical line protected by a fuse or circuit breaker of the proper rating. WARNING The cabinet must be adequately and safely grounded according to local electrical codes to prevent the possibility of electrical shock. 2-4. WATER SUPPLY The Henny Penny HC-941 Holding Cabinet may be used with water for more humidity or without water for less humidity. If more humidity is required, remove drawer and manually fill the water reservoir with hot water. NOTE Be sure not to overfill water reservoir. Maximum capacity is one pint. WARNING ] Extreme care should be taken when filling or removing water from the unit above hot grills or utensils. To prevent accidental burns, always allow unit to cool down before draining. To Drain Unit After unit has cooled down, place a sponge or absorbent cloth in the water well and allow it to soak up the water.
