Support for Cluster Shared Volumes [CSV] on Windows Server 2012 Failover Cluster only.

Support for Failover cluster integrated CLX resource configuration utility for Cluster Shared
Volume on Windows Server 2012 only
•
In CLX configured environments, support for automatic management of virtual machine
migrations residing on Cluster Shared Volume in Windows Server 2012 Failover Cluster only
•
Support for Automatic creation of CLX cluster resources in CSV Role and VM Role using
PowerShell Cmdlets on Windows Server 2012 only.
Prerequisites
•
Windows Server 2008 only: In certain situations, resources do not follow the Preferred Owners
List order during failover. See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article KB950181 for more
information.
•
Windows Server 2008 only: A physical disk resource may unexpectedly fail or go offline
when the IsAlive function is run on a Windows Server 2008 cluster node. See the Microsoft
Knowledge Base article KB953652 for more information.
•
Windows Server 2008 only: When failsafe mode is enabled for a Cluster Extension EVA
resource, and if all the Continuous Access links are broken, then the resource-owning node
might crash with a bluescreen. See the Microsoft Knowledge Base article KB957535 for more
information.
•
To enable use of the HP AutoPass GUI, install the Java Runtime Environment and ensure the
path environment variable is set for java.exe. See the HP SPOCK website for supported
JRE versions.
