Please observe correct battery polarities or the set will not work. • Close the battery compartment cover. • When the battery is exhausted, it should be removed from the set to prevent leakage. Radio operation • Select your desired broadcasting band with Band switch. • Rotate the Tuning control regulator and watch the Dial scale and dial pointer select the program which you want to receive. • The Tuning Indicator will light up when the correct station is received and the station signal is sufficiently strong. • Adjust the level of sound with Volume control regulator. • To switch off the radio please turn the Volume control regulator to the minimum level until you hear the click. 2 Antenna • For FM reception, pull out the telescopic antenna to get the best reception by changing its length and direction. When you listen to the radio indoor please keep the radio near the places which are easy to receive strong signal such as window and door and so on. • The MW antenna is magnetic bar within the system. The set should be placed to a position for the best reception. • To receive SW stations please pull out the telescopic antenna to get the best reception by keeping the telescopic antenna vertical. Connections_ • The dismountable belt clip is set in the radio. It is convenient for use when you out go. Stereo headphone connecting • For private listening radio, insert 3.5 mm headphone into the stereo headphone jack. • Adjust volume control to the appropriate level as desired. • When the stereo headphone jack is plugged, speakers will disconnect automatically. Maintenance and care_ • Check your batteries regularly, old or discharged batteries should be replaced.
