Emergency calls The emergency services can be contacted in the UK by dialling 999 or 112. As the Freestyle 1050 is a mains-powered cordless telephone, in certain situations you may not be able to make an emergency call: • If there is severe radio interference. • If the handset batteries fail. • If there is a power cut. If your Freestyle 1050 is connected to a PBX (switchboard), you may have to dial an access number before 999 to contact the emergency services. Unpacking your Freestyle 1050 Check that your Freestyle 1050 is complete.
