Because a pole pruner is a high-speed cutting tool with a very long reach some special safety precautions must be observed to reduce the risk of personal injury. STIHl HT 1 English / USA Power Tool Attachments Guide to Using this Manual This STIHL attachment may be mounted to different STIHL power tools. Power tools approved for use with the attachment are listed in the chapter on "Approved Basic Power Tools". The assembled combination of basic power tool and attachment is generally referred to as the power tool in this manual. The instruction manuals for the basic power tool and the attachment contain the information necessary for operation of the power tool combination. Therefore, always read both instruction manuals before using the power tool for the first time. Keep the manuals in a safe place for future reference.
