To avoid this, and in order to work safely: • Before initial use of your sewing machine, read these operating instructions attentively. • Keep these operating instructions at a suitable location close to the appliance. If you dispose of this appliance to another person, pass on these instructions also. • Always disconnect the power supply when leaving the machine unattended. This will avoid potential accidents if the machine is switched on accidentally. • First disconnect the power plug before changing the bulb or performing any maintenance work on the machine. This will avoid potentially fatal electric shocks. • Do not remove the plug from the wall socket by the cable.
