When the phonebook in phone is selected, choose the number of your choice in the list that is displayed. 2. When Add voice tag? appears, follow the instructions displayed on the screen. To use the voice dial, press and hold , when in idle mode, then say the voice tag corresponding to the number you want to dial. Up to 15 voice tags can be defined and shared between voice dial and voice command. Recorded voice tags are available in their respective menu and can be deleted, played or changed. Quick Call This feature allows you to set your four preferred or most frequently dialled numbers. You can then quickly call one of them by selecting the corresponding icon or picture on the screen, thereby removing the need to enter and browse the Contacts list. See “ Quickcall” on page 6 for details. Language This menu allows you to select a language for all menu texts. Use+ or - to browse the list and select a language by pressing , or L Select. 46 Settings 10. Camera Your mobile phone features a built-in digital camera. You can take pictures, store them in your phone or transfer them to your PC via Infrared, use them as wallpaper or send them to your friends via MMS or Email. How to.. . This section describes how to perform the most common operations with your camera. Activate the camera To activate the camera mode, simply press R Camera: the camera application is automatically launched. After a period of inactivity, the camera automatically exits. The number of pictures you can save varies according to the settings: the higher the resolution, the bigger the file size. A message will warn you if there isn’t enough memory left. In this case, you must delete data before storing a new picture. Using the self-timer 1. In Camera mode, press 0. 2. Adjust your picture, and press OK to start the countdown of 10 seconds ( this value cannot be changed) . Presslto stop the timer and go back to preview mode. 3. A sound is played three seconds before the picture is taken, then again when it’s actually shot. MMS Foto talk This feature allows you to send a picture via MMS and to add a sound recording to it. The picture can be selected from the Picture album or can be a picture you have just taken with the camera. 1. Take a picture, then press Menu, or select a picture from the Picture Album, then press , or LOptions. In both cases, select Send by... > MMS. 2. When the Add sound? message appears, press LYes to start recording. Then press L Save to stop and save your recording, or RCancel. 3. Select a contact in the list that appears and then Add media to go to the MMS creation screen. Press LSend to send your message, or modify it as you want before sending it (see “ New MMS” on page 33 for more information) . 48 Camera Camera menu This section describes in detail the Camera menu options when pressing LMenu when in preview mode, before taking a picture.
