Plug in the appliance and, using the counter rest, place it on a flat, heat-resistant surface. Let the power cord hang down to stabilise the appliance. . Push the ring switch 1 forwards to switch the appliance on. The position of the ring switch determines the temperature: 1 = approx. 140°C for fine hair 2 = approx. 170°C for normal hair 3 = approx. 200°C for thicker hair . Select the desired temperature. The finer the strands, the tighter the curl as all the hair comes into contact with the heated curling tong. . Open the curling iron by pressing the clip 6. . Release the strand again by opening the clip with small movements while removing the curling iron sideways from the hair section. Note: Make sure that the curl is not pulled straight when removing the curling tong.
