Follow the instructions in this manual referring to the instruction manual supplied with the accessories. For explanations referred to in ( ) in the installation steps, see the same steps in the instruction manual supplied with the accessories. Installing on a TV stand Prepare the following item; – SS-TBL700 Speaker System (not supplied) ~ • Before performing the following instructions, first you must prepare the SS-TBL700 Speaker System (Table-Top Stand). Attach the Base Plate to the Table-Top Stand as shown in the instruction manual of the SS-TBL700 Speaker System. • Do not remove the blue tape that secures the plate on the rear of the monitor, until you finish installing the Table-Top Stand. 1 Remove the stand cover. Stand cover 2Gently slide the monitor onto the neck of the Table-Top Stand by aligning the Fmark of the plate to the top part of the Table-Top Stand. Be sure to work with two or more people. 4 GB • Do not put stress on the LCD panel or the frame around the screen. • Hold the Table-Top Stand firmly with both hands. 4 Connect the mains lead (supplied) to the AC IN socket. F mark Top part 3Attach the monitor to the Table-Top Stand using the screws (supplied with SSTBL700). Attach the two bottom screws first, then the top two screws. Start-~ • Insert the plug fully into the socket. • When using with an HDMI equipment, also connect the HDMI cable to the HDMI IN socket (page 27). Top screws Bottom screws ~ • If an electric screwdriver is used, set the torque to tighten at approximately 1.5 N·m {15 kgf·cm}. (Continued) 5 GB 6 GB 5 Attach the stand cover. Hang the stand cover over the top of the Table-Top Stand’s centre post, and then push down to close until it clicks. ~ • Be sure not to pinch the mains lead when attaching the cover. 6 Attach the terminal cover. 7 Connect the TV to your mains socket. Installing on a wall Prepare the following items; – SU-WL700 Wall-Mount Bracket (not supplied) – SS-WAL700 Speaker System (not supplied) – Spacers (black) (4) (supplied) 1 Place the supplied spacers (4-2). 1Remove the four screws from the rear of the monitor. 2Place the spacers (black) on the screw holes of the previous procedure. 2 Follow steps 4-3 to 4-4 referring to the instruction manual supplied with the Wall-Mount Bracket. When using only the Wall-Mount Bracket Proceed to the following step 5 in this manual. When using the Speaker System Proceed to the following step 3 in this manual. 3 Lift the Lock Bracket to insert the Speaker System (4-5).
