POWER turns the TV on or off SLEEP sets the TV to turn off at a specific time (page 39) LIGHT The initial press of the LIGHT button causes two actions: 1) enables the illumination mode 2) illuminates the keypad. Subsequent presses of the LIGHT button cause the Illumination mode to toggle between enabled and disabled. Any keypress illuminates the keypad for 5 seconds. If in programming mode, the keypad will remain lit for 10 seconds. When disabled, pressing the LIGHT button enables the illumination mode and lights the keypad. Channel Numbers (0-9, 100) allow direct access to channels (pages 24, 25) MODE cycles through the 6 device modes (TV, CABLE/SAT, VCR, DVD, AUDIO1, AUDIO2). You can access the menus using the buttons on your TV or remote control. • When you make a menu selection, your changes occur immediately. You do not have to press MENU or EXIT to save your changes. Note: The TV front panel does not have an EXIT button. • When you are finished programming the menus, you can press EXIT to clear the on-screen display, or wait 15 seconds and the on-screen display will disappear automatically. Your changes are automatically saved either way. Changing the on-screen display language You can choose from three different languages (English, French, and Spanish) for the on-screen displays of menus and messages. To select an on-screen display language: 1. Press MENU . 2. Press x or • until the SET UP menu appears. 3. Press y or z to highlight LANGUAGE. 4. Press x or • to highlight your desired language. MENU yzx • EXIT Selecting the antenna input You can connect to one of two different antenna input sources using the antenna input (ANT 1 or ANT 2). To select the antenna input: 1. Press MENU . 2. Press x or • to highlight the SET UP menu. 3. Press y or z to highlight ANT 1/2. 4. Press x or • to highlight either ANT 1 or ANT 2, depending on the antenna terminal you wish to use.
