The power-on light goes on. Fill the water tank. Undo the locking strap Jand unfold the ironing board to vertical position. Set both air vent slides Dto the ironing position. Push the board tilting button Hand tilt the board to horizontal position. Set the ironing board to the appropriate height by means of the height adjustment lever I. Take the iron out of the iron compartment, either from the left or right side. Switch the iron on by pressing the iron power-on button U. The power-on light goes on. After approx. 2 minutes the iron is ready for use. If you want to iron with steam, set the temperature dial of the iron to 2or higher and press the steam activator T. Never direct the steam at people. If you want to iron in the blowing mode, press the rounded side of the blowing/suction button. If you want to iron in the suction mode, press the hollow side of the blowing/suction button. You can safely put down the hot iron on the board cover during ironing. This process takes 10 minutes and automatically stops. 1 2 4 Automatic Calc-Cleaning N Q This appliance is equipped with an automatic Calc-Cleaning system. When the power-on light Qblinks, the Calc-Cleaning system is active. Wait 3 minutes for the appliance to complete the Calc-Cleaning process. During this process you cannot use the appliance. When the power-on light Qstops blinking and the rinse tray light starts blinking, empty the rinse tray Nand reinsert it. The Calc-Cleaning process is now finished and you can start using the appliance. 1 5 Storage Fold the ironing board to the storage position and lock the board with the locking strap. To store the cord, briefly pull it towards you and then let it go. The cord will be wound up automatically.
