en 15 You now have the option to enter personal GOALS k such as WEIGHT = desired weight, FAT = desired percentage of fat, MUSCLE = desired percentage of muscle. To enter the desired values, check the general information and tables on the foldout pages. The entered goals will appear later in the analysis graphics in the form of a horizontal line. If you do not wish to enter any goals, simply press the SET button to skip this option. The following symbols now appear: L = select the activity level 1 (unexercised) to 5 (competitive athlete), CD = select the correct gender MALE or FEMALE l = enter details of year, month and day of birth G = set height in cm e.g., 173 The data is saved and “Data for user # saved” is displayed for about 3 seconds. The values are then displayed in the cockpit view n. The programming is complete; now let the scales switch off. Information: Previously used User Profiles can be overwritten at any time with new data. A previously used User Profile can be deleted again in menu setting m under DELETE USER. This will delete all data for this user. Measuring your weightand starting an analysis Caution: Pregnant women and persons with implanted medical devices such as pacemakers must not use these scales. Important: To ensure correct measurement, the skin of your feet, calves and thighs must not meet. Only step on the scales with bare feet, otherwise the analysis measurement will not work and only the weight will be displayed. Important: The scales automatically calibrate when switched off. To ensure a correct reading, do not move the scales after switching off. Any saved data will not be deleted if the battery is changed. Without batteries, the time and date are stopped so you may have to make corrections after changing the battery. Days on which the scale has no batteries will not be included in the analysis graphic. The scales automatically identify the users based on their weight (deviations of +/5% possible). You do not need to turn them on. Just step on the scales with bare feet and stand still while the symbol D is lit up with a border around it in the display (figure C). Distribute your weight evenly between both legs.
