Calibration targets for the HDEM tower must be
glued-on, are white in color, and require the
HDEM Calibration Target specific FRU
(731150-001 SPS-LTO HDEM Mag
w/Calibration Target).
Inspect the contents of the kit
The kit contains one six-slot LTO magazine with
glued-on white calibration target.
Remove the existing calibration target with
magazine
NOTE:
Magazines must be removed in a
top-to-bottom order. As such, any magazines

positioned vertically above the one needing
replacement must first be removed.
1.
On the operator panel, press the Robotics Enabled
button to turn off power to the picker assembly
and return it to the home position.
2.
Open the access (front) door of the HDEM.
3.
Identify the magazine(s) needing to be removed

and then remove any media from the magazines.

Using both hands, push the magazine upwards
until it unsnaps.
5.
To remove it, pull the magazine towards you.
