Follow this procedure to check the oil: 1. Make sure the machine is on level ground. 2. Turn the cap marked "Engine Oil" counterclockwise. 3. Lift the dipstick out of the tube. 4. If the mark is below "OK", add oil. See figure 1. 5. When adding oil, make sure the oil does not pass the mark "FULL" on the dipstick. See the engine manual for the correct type of oil.
