The slots in the ends of the bar will fit over the spacers. Support the hood with an improvised prop rod. Install the screws that hold the hinge support bar to the dash support and instrument panel. Snap the hood support cylinder into place, and remove the prop rod. The remainder of the installation process is simply the reversal of the removal steps. 6

Remove the belt guard. 3. Remove the front PTO drive belt from the double drive pulley, and replace with a new belt. 4. Install the double drive pulley belt guard in the same position noted in step 1. Secure the belt guard in proper position using the washer and bolt. Use plenty of it. Worn parts can be expensive to replace. Keep your supply of lubricating oil and grease stored in clean containers, and covered to protect from dust and dirt. Keep the lubricating gun nozzle clean and wipe dirt from grease fittings before lubricating. Move the PTO engagement lever forward slowly until the blades are turning. A WARNING: When the blades are engaged, keep feet and hands away from the discharge opening, the blades or any part of the deck.
